"Which Electoral Reform Options Support Women's Equality and Diversity?"
Five electoral models have been proposed for PEI, and Island voters will have a chance to rank their preferences in a plebiscite vote. But which of the options hold the most promise to support greater gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in PEI's political system?
On Tuesday, September 20, join the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women and the PEI Coalition for Women in Government for "A Preference for Equality" - a workshop examining gender, diversity, and the way we vote. The workshop will be an interactive, participatory analysis of the possible effects of the five electoral options. Workshop open to all.
